Spring happenings- February through May

This blog is long overdue!!  Things got so busy around here that I skipped the last few months by accident, whoops!  Anyway, we had a great February, March, April, and May.  We went to Disney, swam in the pool, went to PA to visit family, went to Disney again, and had Dan's family visit.

So Aila turned one on April 4th!  While up with family, we celebrated her bday, went to the Carnegie Science Center, and enjoyed visiting with family and friends.  Aila started walking a day past her 10 month birthday so she was running by a year old.  She is now climbing on the couch and pushing herself down the slides at the park.  She is also giving us kisses when we ask her, or sometimes she just leans in on her own.  So sweet!  At her one year appt, she was a quarter inch taller than Ashlan but a whole lb lighter at that point! Aila was 30.5 in tall, which was 90%, and 23 lbs, 7 oz, which was 75% for weight.

We've been having fun in the pool since March but definitely more this last month since the water has been in the upper 80's/low 90's.  Ashlan is now swimming to the bottom of the pool to retrieve items.  She is such a fish!  When Dan's family was here we were in the pool everyday except when we made a trip to St. Augustine and Fernandina, but even at Fernandina, we were at the beach.  Aila is turning into a great traveler too!  Very happy about that because it sure makes things easier for us!  I see many more day trips and weekend trips in our future!  We're still keeping Ashlan in school for June, though regular preschool ended yesterday.  We'll see how it goes to see if we want to put her in for July and August, and then she starts VPK in September anyway.  Can't believe how fast these two are growing!

Funny Ashlan story- I was getting Ashlan some milk.  I happen to be holding Aila and she grabbed the milk container, almost making me spill it so I gasped.  Ashlan sighed and said, "These babies", like we have more than one, lol.

Aila is also turning into such a little person!  I was about to go for a run with her in the jogging stroller so I said, "Let's go put our shoes on."  As I was tying my sneakers, she found one of her sandals and handed it to me to put on her.  Growing up way too fast!

My little helper!

Me and my girls!  ❤️

Pajama day at preschool

Ashlan built a t-Rex, with my help of course, and insisted I take a picture.

How is this comfortable?

She really fell asleep like this.  Little diva.

At downtown Disney for Aila's birthday.

At the T-Rex cafe.

Watching the band.

On Dumbo.  Daddy and Ashlan are behind Aila and me.

Banging on the drums at Epcot.

Aila loved the Ariel ride.

Ashlan is always entertaining her sister.

Practicing writing her name at preschool.

Spending time with Papa.

Aila's first taste of frosting.  I don't think she liked it much.  Ashlan was the same way at her age!  And that was a rug burn on her nose!  Ouch!

Papa and his four granddaughters.

Saying goodbye to cousin Rose.  She didn't want us to leave, and Ashlan didn't either!

On the swing with Grammy.

On the horse daddy used as a child.  Look at these legs!

With Aunt Katie at the Carnegie Science Center.

Aila had fun at the huge water table too!

Ashlan's preschool class.  She is bottom left.  Her two favorite friends were Kyleigh- the girl in pink, with a white bow in her hair, far left on top, and Hayden- the blonde boy up front right, in an orange shirt.  She talked about them constantly!

Swimming underwater!  So proud of her!  Not bad for an almost 4 1/2 year old!

On Mommy's old horse.

Look at these little curls!!

Playing swords with the pool noodles.

Muffins with Mom at Ashlan's preschool- for Mothers Day.

Dancing together.

Aila was just staring and talking to them, lol.  They were smiling at her as well.

At our favorite pizza place at Hollywood Studios- Pizza Planet from Toy Story.

Trying the puddle jumper out.

Having fun!

With Grammy and Grandpa.

With Aunt Katie.

In Saint Augustine.  We really enjoyed our visit with Dan's family.  The weather was beautiful and we got to enjoy the pool nearly every day they were here.

Family pic!

At Fernandina Beach.  Aila's first time at a beach!

"What IS this stuff?"

Ashlan had so much fun playing in the sand!

At our community pool.  Ashlan loved the water slides!

  1. It is no secret that I have a very deep and personal relationship with God. I have pushed and resisted that relationship this past year through all the bullshit I have had to go through living with Herpes but once again, God is bigger than my stubbornness and broke through that outbreak cold sore and all I had Genital Herpes. For me personally, hearing over and over how I am not good enough has really invaded my mind in the worst way possible. I completely shut down and I was just waking up like is this how life going to end this temporary herpes outbreak “fuck everybody with herpes if you know what I mean” but let's be honest here...
It is cowardly to say no to herbal medicine. It is fear based. And it is dishonest to what my heart wants. Don't build a wall around yourself because you are afraid of herbals made or taking a bold step especially when it's come to health issues and getting cured. So many young men/ women tell me over and over that Dr Itua is going to scam me but I give him a try to today I feel like no one will ever convince me about herbal medicine I accept Dr Itua herbal medicine because it's cure my herpes just two weeks of drinking it and i have been living for a year and months now I experience outbreak no more, You can contact him if you need his herbal medicine for any such diseases like, Herpes, Parkinson, Diabetes, Hepatitis, Syndrome, Cancers, HIV, Epilepsy, Infertility, and any kind of disease & Infections Love Spell,. Email..drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com then what's app.+2348149277967.... My advice to any sick men/women out there is simple... Be Always an open book. Be gut wrenching, honest about yourself, your situation, and what you are all about. Don't hold anything back. Holding back will get you nowhere...maybe a one way ticket to lonelyville and that is NOT somewhere you want to be. So my final truth...and I'm just starting to grasp this one..
