This last month has flown. Ashlan starts school soon and Aila's already four months old! Dan likes his new job better than the last (so far, lol), and I'm down to my last 15 lbs of baby weight (which seems like a lot but I gained 55 total so it's just taking awhile, lol).
I signed Ashlan up for dance the other day. She'll be doing half tap and half ballet and this will be held at her school starting Sept 2. We canceled gymnastics so this is her last month doing that. She hasn't been as into it lately and it's a lot farther than the dance place (which is just a mile away), so we'll try her in dance and see what she prefers.
Aila's 4 month appt was on August 1st. She did wonderful with the shots this time! She did cry but not a lot, and most importantly, she wasn't irritable at all that night and didn't vomit either. She was 25 inches tall and 14 lbs 10 oz, which is ironically the exact same stats when Ashlan was her age, down to the oz! So crazy. Both are in the 75%. Aila does have a bigger head though, but always has. She's in 9 month clothes and has been for a bit.
We're looking forward to Grammy, Grandpa, and Aunt Katie's visit for Aila's baptism and Dan's birthday. It will be nice to see them for a week and I know they'll entertain Ashlan, lol.
